Signs Your Tyres or Transmission Need Attention
These symptoms are safety warnings — do not ignore them. A worn tyre or slipping transmission can cause load instability and accidents.
- Excessive vibration or bouncing during operation
- Chunking or flat spots on tyres
- Gear slipping or jerky drive engagement
- Slow acceleration or inability to climb ramps
- Brake fade or increased stopping distance
Our Process
Inspect & Diagnose
Tyre wear measurement, tread depth check and transmission pressure test to identify the exact fault and provide an accurate written quote.
Repair or Replace
OEM and quality aftermarket parts used throughout. Solid tyres are press-fitted on-site; transmissions rebuilt in our workshop.
Road Test & Sign-Off
Full operational test including driving under load before handover to confirm traction, braking and ride quality are restored.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between solid and pneumatic forklift tyres?
Solid (press-on) tyres are used on indoor or smooth-surface forklifts. They never puncture and require no inflation. Pneumatic tyres are air-filled and suited to outdoor, rough-terrain applications — they provide better shock absorption but can puncture. We supply and fit both types.
How long does a transmission overhaul take?
Most transmission rebuilds take 2–3 working days including sourcing clutch packs and filter kits. We provide a written turnaround estimate after the initial diagnostic inspection.
